LUXURY GROUP ACCOMMODATION IN DARTMOOR

Sleeps to 12 people in 7 bedrooms, with 6 bathrooms (4 ensuite), children/pets welcome, can connect with Farmhouse to sleep a total of 19. This south facing Manor House in South Devon is a great holiday retreat for families or groups (Manor can sleep 12 single persons when beds are split).

It’s a very spacious home with grand reception rooms and spacious bedrooms. Set over three floors, the rooms have charm and character and the large dining room has a large inglenook fireplace and antique mahogany table.

LIVING

The spacious hall leads to an elegant drawing room seating twelve with deep comfy sofas and chairs. Features include a window seat over looking the pretty garden, wood burner, stucco ceiling and original wooden shutters. 49” digital TV with built in Free view, DVD/video player and CD player with iPod dock.

The elegant dining room is great for large dinner parties and special occasions with a large Victorian mahogany table, seating 14 (24 can be seated in the room with use of additional tables) and walk in inglenook open fireplace, to create the ambience.

KITCHEN

The farmhouse style country kitchen has all the usual modern appliances, fridge, large double oven gas range, oil fired Rayburn, microwave, dishwasher, 22in Tv with Free View and DVD player and bespoke refectory style hand made kitchen table (seats 10-12). All of this combines to create the perfect luxury group accommodation in Dartmoor and Devon.

BEDROOMS

The seven bedrooms are set over the 1st and 2nd floors of the house. 1st floor (split level by 4 steps) – 4 bedrooms – (3 rooms with front views, 1 room rear view ) 2nd floor – 3 bedrooms (front views).

BATHROOMS

1st floor (Total of 4) – Shower room (shower/wc/washbasin), Bathroom (bath, with shower over/wc/washbasin), Ensuite for Bedroom 2 (4 steps inbetween) or general bathroom (shower/bath/wc/washbasin), Ensuite Bathroom to twin Bedroom 4 (bath/wc/washbasin). All showers are powerful mixer showers.

NB.Bedrooms 1, 2 and 3 are all 4 steps up from the 1st floor bathrooms. Bedroom 4 is on the same level as all the 1st floor bathrooms.

2nd floor (Total of 2) – Ensuite open plan bathroom (slipper bath/washbasin) plus (wc/washbasin in cubicle) to double Bedrooms 5 & 6.

2nd Floor

(3 rooms with front views- 6.6ft head height) Original Servants quarters but now pretty country style bedrooms with antique furniture and furnishings, simply charming throughout.

Other Property Details

There’s a utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, sink, fridge/ fridge freezer and extra catering equipment (food processor, blender, mixer etc). Plenty of space to store walking boots and for pets to sleep etc. Downstairs WC.

Cots (Wooden drop sided)

We can supply a maximum of 3 cots for the Manor and they will fit in all bedrooms, except Bedroom 7.

Stairgates

3 pressure mounted gates are provided for you to install, where required. As doorways and stairs are very wide, extra blocks are provided.

Fireguard

We provide one very long fire guard for you to place where required.

Head Height

Back door entrance has a low head height of 5.8ft and attic rooms only offer 6.6ft in head height.

Parking

Large car park to the rear of the property (Max 6-8 cars). Large vehicles/Mini buses- Alternative parking on the site may be more suitable, please contact to discuss.

Accessibility

Due to age and Grade II listing of the Manor, there are a number of small steps/level changes throughout the property. Please see our access statement/ask for more details.

Dogs

We are happy to accept dogs in our properties (2 per property by arrangement). Please note: no enclosed gardens, (but we can usually offer a field to walk in), free roaming poultry and sheep in fields.
