We’re excited to introduce The Apple Barn, a new rustic event venue at Stickwick Manor and Cottages, set on the edge of the village of Hennock near Dartmoor. With sweeping valley views across open countryside, this flexible barn space is ideal for weddings, celebrations and group events in a relaxed rural setting.
A Flexible Venue for Weddings & Events
The Apple Barn is designed as a blank canvas event space, allowing you to style the barn exactly how you want. Whether you’re planning a rustic wedding reception, birthday party, anniversary celebration, charity event or corporate retreat, the space can adapt to suit your plans.
The barn can host up to 100 guests and includes tables, chairs, catering preparation facilities, lighting, parking and optional bar hire with staff available.

Although the barn or Manor is not licensed for ceremonies, couples can marry at St Mary’s Church in Hennock, just a ten-minute walk away. This makes The Apple Barn an ideal Dartmoor wedding reception venue, combining a traditional village church ceremony with a relaxed countryside celebration.
